Does it matter?

I quit posting here a long time ago. Why? All the bullshit DA politics! When I find time...I'm gonna do a personal project- "Fuck DA". Has that been done?

Fuck it. Who cares!

I enjoy the shit out of the talent and variety of people here. But to constantly watch little guys get passed up and shit on because they don't post 150 times a day sucks. To those of you that are doing 3rd grade work but have 5000 "friendly" followers-fuck off! Any of you ever notice that you never get critique? Why? Because nobody wants to waste their time. But all the other "kids" like to say 'good job', 'cool' and 'i have that toy'. Fucking punks. It sucks to repeatedly see your same boring, unoriginal UN-AR-TIS-TIC work at the top of every page. You know who you are.

I LOVE all of my followers. If any of you still follow? If not...so be it. Oh I know, I'll put on an anime costume and take a picture of myself-doing nothing. That's guaranteed to get me at least...what...500 new followers? lol

I'll try and stop in at least once a week. No guarantees. Not that it matters, I don't have anything new to share. I've been concentrating soley on the business for the last year. So it's portraits, portraits portraits. Nothing much worth sharing. Sorry if that disappoints.

I'm sure there's tons of awesome, beautiful...flat out hot shit work in that mountain of deviations! But I'm not gonna lie, I'll never have a chance to go through them all.

Thanks for all of the recent comments and to all the new watchers!!! It means a ton. Can't say how thankful I am you guys keep coming back to my work. Means the world.

I'm gonna do my best to hang around, but I've still got a lot of shit going on in the real world. Damn, internet life sure makes things simple.

Oh...and this journal. I just picked a bunch of bullshit colors and mixed and matched. Kinda matches what's been going on in my head lately :D

Why did I wait so long to join a club?

First, I want to say thank you to the clubs for allowing me to share my work with them! I'm honored to have my work posted side by side with such great artists :) I am amazed at the amount of talent that I have found since joining   :nod:

.......just a blurb.......

I still feel funny calling myself a 'photographer'? I don't own a business or have clients. So what classifies me as a photographer? Because I take pictures?....almost everyone takes pictures!

What about an 'artist'? I take pictures. That's it? Sure I've sold some prints, but I still just feel funny calling myself a photog? I've only been in the game for a year now. I learn something new every time I shoot...but it's gotta take longer than a year to hold a label like that...right?

Maybe *Hobby Photographer* is more appropriate? I must just have too much time on my hands today :lol:

...anyways...thanks for all the support i get from everyone! the feedback is what inspires me to continue shooting.

Nothing New

That's right...nothing new from me!

Talk about depressing. My camera is in the shop. That's why I haven't posted anything in over a week. Never thought it would be this bad. But my camera goes everywhere with me!

It's supposedly a minor fix and I should have it back next week. Luckily, there is a Canon Service Repair Center only a couple of hours away from me...and it's still under warranty :) I'm just so excited to know that I'll have it back soon! I've been buying liitle goodies for it that I can't wait to try ;)

So hopefully, I'll have some new shots up within the next week or so. Don't give up on me...hang in there.

In this same thread, I just want to say thanks to everyone that takes the time to look at and comment on my work! It is greatly appreciated and also it is what inspires me to continue shooting :thumbsup:
